Dean Newkirk, a gifted tenor and versatile artist from Southeastern North Carolina, has a rich background in music, having lived near Nashville, Tennessee for nearly 15 years. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Dean earned a Bachelor of Science in Recording Industry with an emphasis in Production & Technology and minors in Computer Science and Music Industry. With over a decade at Provident, one of the major record labels in Christian music, Dean's talents span from songwriting and arranging to producing and vocal coaching. His songwriting credits include contributions to Grammy and GMA Dove Award-nominated albums. Dean’s debut solo album, "Hope Found," showcases his passion for music. As an ordained minister, he dedicates himself to producing worship services and celebrations of life, doing pastoral care ministry and encouraging others in their greatest times of need. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
